 THE FULL OUT MOVEMENT

Fully Participate in the Life You're Already Living.

Living Full Out is not about doing the most.

It is not pretending everything is good.

And it is not waiting until your circumstances finally cooperate.

It is choosing to be fully present in the life you have—your purpose, joy, sadness, faith, relationships, creativity, courage, rest, questions, growth and everything in between.

Full participation, engagement, and presence.

You don't have to change your entire life today.

You can start with ten minutes.

Tanesha L. Moody

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO LIVE FULL OUT?

Life Is Too Short to Live Halfway.

Living Full Out means intentionally and fully participating in your life as it actually is, while continuing to become who you are called to be.

That can look like taking the courageous step.

It can look like creating something.

Calling someone you love.

Using your gifts.

Trying something new.

Resting because your body needs it.

Laughing until your stomach hurts.

Talking honestly with God.

Or admitting that today hurts—and allowing yourself to actually feel it.

You can be sad and still Live Full Out.

You can be disappointed and still Live Full Out.

You can be waiting and still Live Full Out.

You can rest and still Live Full Out.

You can have questions and still Live Full Out.

Living Full Out does not require you to manufacture a better life before you participate in the one you already have.

The goal is not to make every moment good. The goal is to actually live the moments you are given.

Why This Matters

Your Life Is Already Happening.

It is easy to live in the waiting room.

When I get the relationship...

When the business grows...

When I know what comes next...

When the prayer gets answered...

When I feel better...

When life settles down...

Then I'll really live.

But Tuesday still happens.

So does Wednesday.

And eventually seasons become years.

You can have an incredibly full calendar and still barely participate in your own life.

That is what I do not want for myself.

And it is not what I want for you.

There will be seasons when surviving really is enough. Living Full Out is not another standard to perform or another reason to feel behind.

It is an invitation to keep coming back, create, connect, feel, and to be here.

Your circumstances do not have to change before you are allowed to participate in your life.

THE 10-MINUTE FULL OUT CHALLENGE

Give Your Life Ten Minutes.

What if Living Full Out started with roughly 1% of your waking day?

That question became a personal experiment:

365 days.
365 random challenges.
At least ten minutes at a time.

I wrote 365 activities, put them into a box, and every day I randomly pull one.

The activity is not really the challenge.

The challenge is full participation.

For ten minutes, whatever I am doing, I am going to actually be there for it.

No masking.

No faking.

No performing a perfect life for the camera.

No requirement that I feel better afterward.

Just ten intentional minutes of being fully in the life I am living.

There are two ways to join me:

Do today's challenge with me.
Follow along and try whatever prompt I pull from the box.

Choose your own ten minutes.
Ask yourself: What would fully participating in my life look like for the next ten minutes?

Then do that, Full Out.

Your ten minutes might include:

Body — move, stretch, breathe, feel.

Care — tend to yourself or something entrusted to you.

Connection — reach toward another person.

Courage — tell the truth, take the step, feel the feeling.

Creation — make something simply because you can.

Curiosity — learn, explore, wonder.

Faith — pray, worship, listen, sit with God.

Joy — laugh, dance, play, enjoy.

Wildcard — do whatever this particular day needs.

You do not have to do all 365 days to belong here.

You only need today.

Pick something.

Give it ten minutes.

Live it Full Out.

Share your ten minutes with #10MinuteFullOutChallenge.

A NOTE ABOUT HARD DAYS

Ten Minutes Will Not Fix Everything.

That is not the promise.

You might give your life ten minutes and still be sad.

You might pray and still have questions.

You might take the courageous step and still hear no.

You might connect with someone and still feel lonely.

You might dance for ten minutes and discover that, tragically, dancing did not solve capitalism. 😂

Living Full Out is not about forcing yourself to feel good.

It is about staying in relationship with your life while life is lifeing.

Some days, the most Full Out thing you can do may be acknowledging:

This hurts.

And giving yourself permission to fully feel it.

Success is not:

Did these ten minutes make everything better?

The question is:

Did I participate Full Out?

IGNIS helps you uncover the fire.

Why This Matters to Me.

My Christian faith shapes how I understand Living Full Out.

I do not believe God gave us these lives simply to perform our way through them, numb our way through them, or wait indefinitely for better circumstances before we begin living.

I believe our lives are gifts to steward.

Even the lessons carried through seasons we never would have chosen.

For me, Living Full Out is an act of stewardship.

That does not mean constant achievement.

Sometimes stewardship looks like courageous action, rest, laughter, service, or grief.  Sometimes doing the thing God has been nudging you toward.

Faith does not require us to pretend that hard things are not hard.

It gives us another reason to remain present inside the life we have been given.

Warrior Pose

Your Participation Does Not Stop With You.

This is where Living Full Out becomes bigger than personal growth.

When you use your gift, someone experiences what you create.

When you call the person, someone experiences connection.

When you encourage someone, they carry those words into the rest of their day.

When you lead courageously, somebody else may find permission to speak.

When you live your purpose more intentionally, the people affected by that purpose experience the ripple.

When you become more fully engaged in your life, the people whose lives intersect with yours meet a more present version of you.

That is why my vision is not simply to Live Full Out myself.

I want a world full of people fully participating in their lives.

Different people.

Different purposes.

Different capacities.

Different seasons.

But people who know that their presence, gifts, joy, courage, and lives matters.

Frequently Asked Questions

01

What does “Living Full Out” mean?

Living Full Out means intentionally and fully participating in the life you are actually living while continuing to become who you are called to be. It is about full participation, not constant intensity.

02

Is Living Full Out about doing more?

No. Sometimes Living Full Out means taking bold action. Sometimes it means resting, feeling, listening, praying, creating, connecting or simply being present. It is not a productivity standard.

03

What if I'm going through a hard season?

Hard seasons count as life, too. Living Full Out does not require you to pretend you are happy or rush through difficult emotions. You can grieve, question, wait, rest and still remain present to your life.

04

What is the 10-Minute Full Out Challenge?

It began as Tanesha's 365-day experiment in fully participating in life for at least ten intentional minutes every day. You can follow the daily random prompt or choose your own ten-minute practice.

05

Do I have to participate for 365 days?

No. Tanesha is doing the 365-day experiment. You are invited to start with today.

06

How does purpose connect to Living Full Out?

Purpose helps give direction to how you participate. The IGNIS Framework® helps you Find, Name and Live Your Purpose, while the Full Out Purpose Movement invites people to put language to that purpose and live it more intentionally.

07

Is the Full Out Movement faith-based?

Tanesha's Christian faith openly shapes the philosophy behind the movement, including the belief that our lives, gifts and influence are things we are called to steward. People are welcome to engage with the practical invitations wherever they are starting.
